This is a scam, if you get burned call the authorities. I have already started the ball rolling in Ontario. I have been in touch with the B.B.B as well as Consumer and Corporate Affairs, and I am awaiting their advice on how to proceed. I was conned into purchasing an empty box for $70.00. The rebate form does not exist.
I called tiger and they offered to send me a link for CA.2009 Internet Security?
That link does not exist either. Nor does the rebate site( ca.4myrebate.com)to print your application. Save your money and just get Norton. Don’t listen to the salesman, they get a percentage of the scam. Why else would they be pushing it? For my benefit?

I can say the rebate form does exist.

I was able to go to ca.4myrebate.com, go through all the steps and get to the rebate form which is fully filled in after you complete the steps on the site. It’s then ready to be printed and mailed.

Rebates are often tricky and can take some time.

I however, cannot speak for the empty box situation.

Direct are in this scam. After numerous calls, a rebate form with no address,referals and still no action and now the purchase is out of date etc. Do not deal with either one in my opinion.

SCAM SCAM SCAM….There is no rebate site. It set up for deception purposes only. The above comments suggesting they have retreived their forms are completely false. B.B.B and people who deal with this sort of thing are being notified. Do not deal with Tiger Direct.

BW. I tried the BBB bu through a little searching CanLaw has declared BBB a scam as well. As for those fast talking Tiger Direct saleguys, they should be ashamed of blatant robbery.

Theres really no point in posting the same thing in different names.

I looked around and Tiger Direct isnt being called a scam at all but it seems that its really hard to get the rebate back from the actually company, which doesn’t really have much to do with tiger direct.

Things I know: The rebate site and form do exist and from there your rebate can be mailed in. Tigerdirect is a reputable business and they sell large amounts of computer parts daily. Rebates from reputable companies I know of take 8-10 weeks or longer to arrive, so this one should take that long, or even a little longer. Rebates unfortunately require a lot of patience.

I have also had trouble with dealing the rebate website. this missing info is that in the web address should be entered as HTTP://CA.4myrebate.com. If you notice the www doesn’t not need to be in the website address. Rebates have become so intricute that it is not worth my time or energy to bother with them. It only took me 4 phone calls for someone to figure out what I was doing wrong, I pointed out that the instructions were less than adequate.

I cannot pull up the form to fill out for my rebate that I recently purchased ca pc tune up 2.03, please help, or could you give me your phone number so you can walk through with me, thanks

In my opinion this is a scam. They conveniently lost my upc code. we are very meticulous and included all documentation required.I will not do business again with CA or Tiger Direct!

I bought the product I eventually got my rebate, it took some doing. The product is. You are limited to what you have control over and it stops you from going to many web sites. I had forums I signed up with that I could not access with this installed. Once removed computer was back to normal. I wrote a review and CA contacted me asked for permission to delete it - I asked if that was not dishonest or decetful and they replied only it they did it with out my permission. They removed it and were to send me they new version when it came out - Never did get it though I think I would be afraid to install it after the headaches it caused first time. I also got their version of pctools another joke they offer. Tiger Direct was good and helped me get my refund but I am disappointed that they even offer such an inferior /problematic product on their site, feel it brings their own reputation down some by selling such poor products.
