Until February 27, 2010, at HMV, get $5 OFF a new, specially stickered Blue-Ray DVD purchase when you bring in an old DVD!

There is a limit of  one (1) DVD trade-in per Blu-ray purchase and the trade-in must happen at the time of purchase.

Multiple disc DVD box-sets will be credited as one (1) disc and will receive a $5 credit against the purchase of a specially stickered Blu-ray, regardless of the number of discs in the set.

Promotional DVD copies will not be accepted and HMV reserves the right to refuse any trade in based on condition or questionable content.

Trade-in DVDs become the property of HMV Canada and will not be returned to customers.

Returned Blu-rays will only be credited at the paid receipt value (i.e. $5 trade-in credit is non-refundable) and all returns must be accompanied with the valid HMV receipt within 21 days of purchase.
