If you continue reading Barb, #2 serves as a kind reminder to make sure to collect your receipt and/or not to throw it out since in #5 I’ve stated:

5. Mail your completed form, all required original tokens and all receipts, postmarked no later than August 31, 2009 to: [etc.]

When I write these posts I do two things: 1. I write them in such a way to make it easier for everyone to understand and follow and 2. I include and quote ALL terms, conditions, fine print etc for all of you to reference.

Since I am diabetic, I use Nestea Zero. I would like to collect the $25 refund, but I notice that Nestea “Zero” is not on the rebate form!!!!! I hope this is not correct.!!!! Please reply ASAP.

Hi Natasha,

While I’m not a fan of automated machines either, talking to a live person won’t make a difference. Rules are rules. Even if you did speak with a live person and hypothetically they said yes, a different person would be handling the mail that comes in and would essentially reject your incomplete submission.

When it comes to mail-in rebates, 99.99% of the time you’ll be asked to submit your receipt as proof of purchase so if you intend to participate in promotions such as these, ALWAYS keep your receipts.

I have acummilated 36 tokens to send in but I did not find out I needed receipts until I ptinted the form!!!! Now what am I suppose to do? there was no mention of receipts on the bottles so I did not keep them. Proof of purchase is the fact that I have the round tokens; how else would I have them if I had not purchased the bottle in the first place!! Now I ask again ” WHAT AM I SUPPOSE TO DO”

Unfortunately, there’s nothing you can do. As I told Natasha:

Not sure I understand all the fuss about receipts. For the most part receipts have always been known as your form of “Proof of Purchase” Always hang on to them if you are planning on taking advantage of an offer. Also, it appears that in many instances instructions are not being read properly. Mindseye stated clearly several times to keep your receipts!

I really can’t speak for Nestea Zero. If you read through ALL of the conditions, I don’t see it mentioned. The products which are mentioned include: Nestea, Nestea Cool and Nestea Vitao. However, the conditions also state that specially marked, participating products are eligible.

If you’ve seen tokens on the Nestea Zero packages - I’d like to assume that they’re included but I really can’t say for sure.

If Nestea Zero is what you buy anyways (meaning you buy it because you love it and not because of this promotion), then all you can do is take a chance and you’ll have nothing to lose.

However, given what the conditions state, if you’re only purchasing because you want to participate in the offer then I’m not sure I’d take that chance.

Everything is on the product. this is the first time I ever seen it not on the box. They just do it to screw people anyways. get there stock up. ANYWAYS it does not say anywhere about copys of receitps. So for all of you that lost them. go buy 4 more and make a copy and get a refund .

Hi there Canadian28, not trying to be difficult but… if you follow the full details on the product’s packaging it additionally states: “For full details go to http://www.refreshandredeem.ca or call 1-866-897-2675.” When participating in rebates it is IMPORTANT to read the instructions thoroughly first. Also, if you read through the terms and conditions above it clearly states that the ORIGINAL receipt is required. I would not recommend that someone copy the original as copies would not be accepted.

Will there be a GUARANTEE that I will get a prepaid? I believe I read somewhere that it is “only while supplies last” ..

So if I buy 4 x 12 ones, and then I send them in (Before August 31st,) will I be receiving one? I don’t want them to send me something saying “Sorry there’s no more left” ..

It is Aug24/09 Mistake to leave this to the last week. Have been trying to contact 1 866 897 2675 to find out what to do in my situation, and whenever I get to the press 5 for a customer service representative I get told by the automated voice that my call can not be answered at this time, and it hangs up. No waiting in line or anything… I’ve been trying for weeks.
My problem is that I have 3 redemption forms for my household, I have 12 tokens cut out and I have my receipts.
Problem is they want original receipts, which I have, but 1 receipt has 6 cases on it, one receipt has 3 and the last has 3 = 12 in total. How do I sent originals in separate envelopes in this case. Only way is to send them together so they can see all 12 together, or send 2 originals for the 3 separately, along with 1 photocopy in each and the 6 on one as one separately. If you’re confuse I don’t blame you, but the stores had sales 3 for a certain price and this is the way the receipts were issued and they wouldn’t do it any other way, or couldn’t. Where does this leave me especially when I can’t speak to anyone at refreshand redeem because their customer service live operators don’t seem to exist. Thanks

I think this is a rip off to get you to buy the product. If you needed a receipt it should be marked on the token. I have been saving tokens left right and center to just find out today I needed receipts. I guess waiting to the last minute is what they hoped for. Good rip off deal. I will no longer give the company another dime. I love scam artist.

I sent in token and receipt, they sent it all back with a letter saying that the receipt was not valid.
No reason why, there was nothing wrong with the receipt, except that there we’re 2 (one with 5 cartons, one with 3). Maybe they all had to be bought at once and be on one receipt? Either way, huge scam.
How are they stocking vending machines with these bottles and then demanding receipts anyways. That’s just false advertising right there.
Usually a token/UPC/box top etc IS the proof of purchase!

Sacred feces, they actually called back!! A real person (not automated) told me that due to overwhelming demand they were temporarily out of stock of cards, but they were expecting more soon and my refunds had been approved. I should get what’s coming to me in 2-3 weeks, and the Grail-like Master Cards will finally grace my mail slot. Waiting with bated breath, will advise when and if this fragile dream comes to fruition.

I don’t get it… what mathematical genious did the calculations for this promo? If you put out X amount of products with tokens, divide that number by 4, this is how many mastercards you will need to meet the demand … how do you run out?

This is total crap. Each of my submissions were sent out mid-June… Not one Mastercard have I received. Like seriously, within a week of the promotion starting, I went out and purchased 12 cases of the nasty tasting crap, most of it still sitting on my deck because it’s too vile to consume. Put together 3 seperate envelopes, each with their own receipts and tokens, and nothing. Then, just last week I get one of my submissions back saying that the information I submitted was incorrect, but thank you for purchasing Nestea products… everything was right… and my submission form was dated June 17th… I get it back in the mail October 16th. WTF??? How disappointing.

I just purchased some Nestea yesterday (October 30) advertizing the $25.00 promotion. Upon coming to this website, I see the contest closed 2 months ago. I would think that products advertizing this promotion should have been pulled from the stores now. I saw the $25.00 rebate offer and bought 4 boxes as stated on the carton only to find the contest ended 2 months ago. This is terrile consumer relations!

i mailed in 2 forms with everything in early aug. and just got a reply saying that my one recipt was invalid because it is “a transaction record that does not indicate the products purchased.” This is wrong, at the top of the recipt it says 4 @ $4.99 each TOTAL 19.96. granted the recipt printer must have been low on ink because at a glance the 4 looks like a 1 but you can still see it if you look. no word about the other entry.

I mailed my tokens ,letter and reciepts in July/09 however I have been approved for the giftcard and have been waiting for it to come in the mail for months so, I called the stupid 1-866 number to get a status report and got to speak to a live person and she stated a month ago that they ran out of these gift cards and new ones are on back order, I have been calling them which yoour to get a respnce in 24 hrs but still to no avail have I got a call back….why ? is that…is this another scam from the big multibillion dollar company’s that have the need to rip off the little guy???

This promotion is a bunch of crap. I sent in my receipts, on pack symbols for 4 cases and a redemption form over 8 weeks ago and have received nothing! Thats right…a big fat zero! I have also called the number and have received no response. I just tried an e mail to see if they want to respond using that method.

If not……..

I will never buy this product again.

I called the 1 866 number, and actually got a call
back the next day. Still waiting on my second card
though. It’s been 3 months!

updated: If you want to check your rebate status, put down your full name, full address with postal code and email to: RefreshandRedeem@resolve.com. They usually respond within 24 hours.

If this product is still being sold advertising the prize Nestea should honor it. I buy up to 150 cases per year and will not buy again!!!!!!!!!

I received both my MasterCards but I’m having problems using my 2nd one. I’ve contacted them via ase’s email. Thanks for the info.

I submitted 5 entries (under my name just to 2 different addresses) and I received the cards quite a bit of time after I expected. I believe the form read the cards would arrive within 6-8 weeks however mine never arrived until nearly 3.5 months later. Haven’t had an issue with a card yet!

I have only received 1 gift card should have been sent 3. whats going on no one returns my calls.
