My Take

These drives are great for additional storage, or for backing up your data. They are more energy efficient and as a result a bit slower than a regular drive, so I wouldn’t recommend them for a system drive. They do use advanced formatting (larger sector size), so for XP users, you will likely have to set a jumper on the drive to get this to work.
