My Take

This is essentially a make your own external hard drive type of deal. You are saving out over purchasing a pre-made external hard drive. The speed on the Samsung drive isn’t the greatest, but you have to bare in mind you are limited by the USB 2.0 speed of the docking station anyways, so it’s not a huge factor.
