My Take:

This is a great deal considering the price of HDMI cables at big box electronic stores. At short distances the brand of the cable is quite irrelevant, so save your money and grab some inexpensive HDMI cables. There are so many devices that need these cables now, grabbing a pack and saving some for the future is a great idea.
